Lasergene 12.2 available

Lasergene 12.2 is now available for download from the Kresge Library site at:

Product Keys are no longer required.

Lasergene is a comprehensive DNA and protein sequence and structure analysis software suite. TSRI has a site license for the Lasergene Structural Biology and Evolution Suites, formerly called the Core Suite.

Although TSRI's license is for the *network* version of Lasergene, you can check out a license using the Commuter License Manager for remote (off-network) access. This manager is installed on each client machine in the same directory as the Lasergene or ArrayStar applications. You may use the Commuter License Manager to check out one simultaneous use of a license for up to 30 days. Once a license is checked out, the client computer can be disconnected from the network and the client applications will continue to function. Remember to check the Commuter License back in when returning to the network version so that others can use it.

For assistance downloading and installing Lasergene, contact the IT Services Help Desk on your campus.

For assistance using the Lasergene programs, contact DNASTAR. Contact information is given at the download link given above or go tohttp://www.dnastar.com
