ScienceDirect maintenance

Elsevier will be updating their ScienceDirect journal platform on Saturday, December 1st.

During this scheduled maintenance, there may be minor disruptions to some ScienceDirect functionality.

They are working to provide better support for Google Chrome and Safari and Firefox browsers for the Mac, as well as an improved experience on mobile devices.

If you cannot get into ScienceDirect journals on Saturday, please try again at a later time.

New SpringerLink Platform

Springer, a publisher of many of our subscription journals, is moving to a new platform the week of November 26, 2012. The new SpringerLink should be faster, easier to use and optimized for most mobile devices.

If you have an individual account registered with SpringerLink you will need to set up a new profile/account because your old one will not be migrated. Make sure to do this while within the institution's IP range (i.e., on the TSRI network) as you will then be automatically associated to the Library's access rights.

You do not need an individual account to access the Library's subscribed-to content, but some people may have one for saving searches and alerts.

Access to all other content should remain the same after the migration.

Library Repairs this Weekend 10/12-10/14

Due to recent flooding in the Library, there will be some construction to replace the burst pipe in the ceiling. There will be limited seating available this weekend (10/12-10/14), as well as added noise from the repairs. In addition, some print journals have been moved.

We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to be back to normal (and all dried out!) as soon as possible.
